byrebeccaking.com is the personal brand website of Rebecca King, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. It includes a link-in-bio, free writing resources, The Book Fit, and related editorial offers.

Scrap (the writing app) and meet-scrap.com are separate. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that product.

Using this site

You may browse this site for personal, non-commercial use. Don't misuse it (for example by attempting to disrupt the service, scrape content at scale, or submit spam via forms).

Free resources

Free guides and lists are provided as-is for your personal use. They're not legal, publishing, or career advice tailored to your situation. I may update or withdraw a resource at any time.

By requesting a free resource, you agree I may email it to you and send related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Novel opening submissions

If you submit an opening for possible use on Instagram Reels, you confirm the text is yours to share. You keep the copyright. You grant me a non-exclusive licence to read, quote, display, and comment on that opening on Instagram (and to clip or caption it for Reels), and to keep a copy for that purpose and for related editorial follow-up. Being featured is not guaranteed, and feedback — if given — is public and not a substitute for a paid edit.

Submitting also means I may email you about the submission and related editorial services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; I may still contact you about the submission itself if needed.

Paid services and bookings

Paid offers (such as The Book Fit or editorial reviews) are described on their specific pages or booking flows. Prices, refunds, and scope for a given offer are as stated when you book. Where you book through Calendly or another third-party tool, that tool's terms also apply to the booking process.

Third-party links

This site links out to other sites and apps (for example Scrap, Pitch Pocket, Calendly, and social platforms). I'm not responsible for their content or practices.
